Indianapolis 500 winner Tony Kanaan will compete in the Grand-Am series’ Brickyard Grand Prix next week.
The Brazilian, who finally took his first victory in the historic race this year, will drive a second Daytona Prototype entered by Chip Ganassi Racing.
Kanaan, who has previous Grand-Am experience, will drive alongside American DTM racer Joey Hand.
Ganassi’s second entry will run alongside Grand-Am regulars and reigning champions Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas.
“Tony brings a wealth of experience to the car, and the addition of Joey to the line-up is sure to get the team off to a fast start as he’s been an integral part of the team as evidenced by his success with us in recent Rolex 24 at Daytona,” said Ganassi president Steve Lauletta.
