BROOKLYN, Mich. (May 29, 2013) – Brad Keselowski was granted special permission to drive the famed “Blue Deuce,” the nickname given to his No. 2 Miller Lite Ford, across the Mackinac Bridge on May 29 to promote NASCAR racing at Michigan International Speedway. The Mackinac Bridge Authority will also light the bridge blue tonight and the lights will remain blue leading into the Quicken Loans 400 on June 16.
Keselowski is the first Michigan native to become the NASCAR Sprint Cup champion, the premier stock car motorsports title in the world. He drives for Michigan’s own Roger Penske of Penske Racing.
Finally, Keselowski kicked off the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Mackinac Policy Conference by hosting “Summerfast: A Night of NASCAR Thrills,” at the Grand Hotel’s Tea Garden on Mackinac Island.
